What happens after I submit all required paperwork?
Once we receive your necessary documents, a dedicated We Dispatchers Truck Dispatcher will be assigned to your account. They'll work closely with you to understand your lanes, schedule, and freight types. Our goal is to keep you profitable while navigating the freight market strategically. If your drivers have preferences, we'll reasonably accommodate them, especially if you're using your own equipment, with our guidance for non-desirable areas.
Will I need to handle paperwork with brokers/shippers?
Once we commence our collaboration, you won't typically need to manage additional paperwork for hauling freight from shippers or brokers. However, if specific brokers or shippers require extra documentation, we might need additional paperwork. Rest assured, our aim is to manage the paperwork for you whenever possible.
Which brokers/shippers do you utilize to source freight?
We engage with brokers and shippers offering the highest freight per mile rates. If your company has concerns about their creditworthiness, we can perform credit checks as requested. We exclusively partner with reputable freight brokers that have a proven track record of fair payment. Many freight brokers contact us consistently to offer their loads to our network of Owner Operators. They've realized that working with us ensures professionalism and reliability, while also avoiding the need to list their loads on load boards.
How does the freight booking process work?
Once we have all your necessary paperwork and understand your freight requirements, your dedicated Truck Dispatcher will initiate the search for suitable loads. They will present you with the best available load options, discussing details such as lanes, rates, weights, freight type, single or multiple pickups/drops, and other pertinent information. If a load isn't suitable, we'll continue searching until we find one that meets your needs. However, it's important to note that negotiating loads can be time-sensitive, and during this process, another Carrier might secure the freight. We strongly advise you to communicate your acceptable per mile rate beforehand to prevent this from happening.
How will I receive load information once a load is booked?
Once a load is booked, the original rate confirmation will be emailed to all parties involved. Your designated Truck Dispatcher will communicate all load details to the driver through text or email. It's expected that all our client Carriers and Drivers have both email and text messaging capabilities.
Can I decline a freight load that you propose to me?
Absolutely, you have the autonomy to decline any freight load that our Truck Dispatchers present to you. If a load doesn't align with your requirements, simply let us know. Your Truck Dispatcher will continue searching until they identify a load that suits your preferences. However, it's essential to consider that committing to a freight load and then withdrawing from it due to unfavorable circumstances might negatively impact our future relationship with the broker, shipper, or customer. These parties often conduct performance history checks, and a low or absent rating could result in lower freight rates or even a denial of future loads.
